Hints and Tips

Just a quick note to see if anyone is out there?!

Thursday - it paid to go right up the beat to stay out of the tide taking small shifts along the way. Spent a lot of time with the blocks 'popped' for more speed over the steeper chops. Especially on starboard.

  4. James - in conditions like that where there are lumpy waves that can stop and fill the boat on the beat what is your technique for avoiding that? Slightly heal the boat? Head up to take tge wave on the nose? Or bear off to take tge wave at an angle with speed?

  5. Ron - to avoid the lumpy waves I suggest you capsize.
